Naan Khatais

  • 350g / 12.3oz AP Flour
  • 3g Baking Powder
  • 2 Sticks Butter
  • 18g Sugar
  • 3/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder (optional)
  • 2 to 2.5 tbsp plain whole milk yogurt
  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Sift the flour and baking powder together
  3. Cream the butter and sugar
  4. Mix in salt, cumin seeds and cumin powder
  5. Add sifted flour to the creamed mixture.
  6. Knead into a douigh adding the yogurt as you do so.
  7. Roll the dough 1/8″ think Cut into round shapes with cookie cutter.
  8. Bake 20 minutes.
